Naturopathic Medicine

Naturopathic Medicine is a primary health care system that involves the use of natural therapies and medicines to help stimulate the body’s own healing powers and maintain optimal health. Treatments offered include IV Therapy, Vitamin Injections, Acupuncture, Mesotherapy, Cupping and Laboratory Testing.

Acupuncture

Acupuncture is a 4000 year old natural treatment that helps balance Qi (the universal life energy in the body). It can help reduce stress, increase energy, improve sleep, decrease pain, and even prepare the body for fertility. Traditional Chinese Acupuncture treatments include the use of sterile needles, cupping, electro-stimulation (TENS), gua sha, infrared heat lamps, ear seeds and more.

Massage Therapy

Give your body the treatment it needs and deserves! All our Registered Massage Therapists have over 2200 hours of training. We offer deep tissue, relaxation, prenatal and hot stone massages. You can opt to add cupping, essential oils or hot stones for an extra $10. Each room is equipped with a hydraulic table, luxury linen, dimmable lighting and in-ceiling speakers.

Osteopathy

Osteopathy is a manual form of therapy that emphasizes the relationship between the structure and function of the human body. Osteopathy focuses on facilitating the health of joints and muscles through non-invasive manual therapy, helping to strengthen the framework of the body.

Facial Treatments

Natural facial treatments such as Microneedling, Facial Acupuncture and Mesotherapy have been known to help the skin age gracefully and reduce signs of aging. Our trained Practitioners will assess your skin, go over any contraindications and, if appropriate, will recommend a safe and suitable treatment for you. Please note that facial treatments are NOT eligible for insurance coverage.

Growing up in New Brunswick, I’ve always appreciated nature and its healing properties; however, my passion for naturopathic medicine was instilled in me by my grandfather. He was a medical doctor from Croatia, but he always chose to use natural remedies where he could. He taught me the importance of understanding the balance between the need for medical intervention and using the remedies provided to us by the earth.

I am a naturopathic doctor practicing in Calgary, Alberta. I studied naturopathic medicine at the Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine (CCNM) in Toronto, Ontario. Prior to studying naturopathic medicine, I completed my Bachelor of Science with honours in Medicinal Chemistry at the University of New Brunswick, in my hometown of Fredericton.

My practice caters to the whole family. Though I do have a special interest is supporting women through pregnancy and the post-partum period. I also love supporting children to prevent and treat childhood conditions. During my time at CCNM, I was on the pediatric focus shift and was co-chair of our doula club. I also had the opportunity to travel to India for one month where I was able to volunteer at pop-up clinics in rural regions and work alongside the local medical doctor (if there was one). Many of the patients we treated were children in orphanages and monasteries. The bond I was able to form with these children further ignited my passion. I knew this was what I was meant to do.

Upon graduation, I moved to Cochrane to be with the love of my life and to be closer to the mountains. I am happiest when I am in nature. That is why in my time outside of clinic, you can find me hiking, kayaking, or walking through nature. I have also played competitive basketball and volleyball and very much enjoy weightlifting.

I can’t wait to work together with you to support your health goals!
